Jury all inclusive Award 2025


The award honours documentary film productions in which filmmakers with disabilities play a leading role.It is awarded for the inclusive team effort in the realisation of the film. The prize is donated by the Werksviertel-Mitte Stiftung and endowed with 5,000 euros.

Seneit Debese

Founder and Managing director Greta & Starks Apps GmbH

After studying business administration and gaining over 20 years of experience in film distribution, Seneit Debese combined her expertise with her passion for cinema to get even more involved. She developed a solution that makes cinemas accessible to 1.6 billion people with sensory impairments, older people and foreign-language viewers worldwide. In 2014, it launched the GRETA app, enabling barrier-free or low-barrier access to a shared cinema experience for the first time. The award-winning Greta technology is now available in 14 countries.

At the ‘Perspektive Kino!’ conference of DOK.forum 2023, she was a speaker on the panel on ‘Audience building: Diversity and inclusion’.

 

 

Olaf Jacobs

Producer Hoferichter & Jacobs Film- und Fernsehproduktionsgesellschaft

Olaf Jacobs, born in Leipzig in 1972, began his professional career at Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk. In addition to working as a presenter, editor and later CvD, he studied law and economics as well as American film dramaturgy by distance learning. Since 1996, he has been an author and producer at Hoferichter & Jacobs GmbH, where he mainly realises journalistic primetime programmes, mostly for German public broadcasters, often with international participation. He is the managing director of Filmförderung Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

Tina Thiele

Owner and publisher of Casting-Network

Tina Thiele studied Theatre, Film and Television Studies (HF), English and Art History (NF) from 1996 onwards and then Cultural Management (Law, Business Administration and Accounting) in Cologne. Between 1998 and 2002 she worked as a casting director (cinema project EDELWEIßPIRATEN, TV debut FUTSCHIKATO). Her specialised book ‘Casting’ (UVK-Verlag) was published in 2005. Building on this, Tina Thiele founded the industry portal casting-network.de, where talents are networked with the casting industry. Today, she works exclusively as a journalist, networker and lecturer. She founded and ran Out Takes - the film and television industry blog - for ten years, is a member of Netzwerk Film + Demokratie and on the board of Vielfalt im Film. Here she is involved in the specialist area of inclusion. In 2022, she launched the ‘Cast Me In’ initiative.
