ROUGE PAROLE
Tunesien, Schweiz, Katar 2011 – Director: Elyes Baccar – Original language: Arabic – Subtitles: English – Length: 97 min.
"Degáge! Degáge! Get out! Get out!" With this rallying cry, in December 2010, Tunisian demonstrators sparked a fire that would encompass the entire Arab world. This film begins consequentlly with the fulfilment of their demands when president Ben Ali resigns and we embark upon a journey through post-revolutionary Tunisia. The journey takes us to the revolution’s central locations and we encounter important protagonists as well as casual observers of the events who are still fighting for their rights months after the overthrow of the dictator. An emotional, visually stunning and poetic portrait is drawn of a fractured and uncertain country. Andrea Kuhn
