A unique format for training and collaboration in partnership with Documentary Campus. Eight selected projects will be presented to international experts. For the first time we will also welcome the European Broadcast Union (EBU) with their initiative “Big 5”.

Documentary Campus is a non-profit organisation based in Munich. Through a combination of workshops, seminars, training programmes and industry events, the throughout Europe renowned professional training initiative supports budding filmmakers in developing their film projects and introduces them to the international standards and rules of the documentary film game by providing professionals and up-and-coming talents with the know-how, networking opportunities and contacts to find co-production partners and to help their documentaries succeed on an international scale.

Commissioning editor documentary/ Redaktion Dokumentarfilm (NDR (ARD))
Timo Großpietsch is a German documentary filmmaker and commissioning-editor from Hamburg. He is currently working on the artistic documentary river. The third part of the trilogy: city, land, river. He has received various prizes and awards for his productions for cinema, streaming platforms and television. His documentaries have also been screened at renowned festivals. As a commissioning editor at NDR, he develops and oversees documentaries and documentary series. He is a member of the "Director's Cut" committee of the Moin Film Fund Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein.
(Gitte Schnyder-Hansen Consultancy)
Gitte is independent film consultant in the int. documentary field with focus on development, production, financing and distribution of films with international potential. Gitte is currently committed mentor for the co-production training-scheme Close-Up, as well as CineDoc and Finnish AVEK’s Development Lab. In addition, she serves at institutes, events, companies and organizations as mentor, tutor, consultant or expert. She works with production companies as individual consultant with a background as executive producer of more than 20 international documentaries and series for First Hand Films, where she was deputy director and headed sales and acquisitions for many years. Gitte holds a Master of Film & Rhetoric from the University of Copenhagen.

Shoshi Korman is Head of Marketing at Cinephil, an international sales and advisory firm with a strong reputation for securing international distribution, broadcasting and financing deals for documentaries from around the world on behalf of producers and directors. Shoshi focuses on festival, release and awards campaigns. Recent titles she has worked on include three-time Academy Award nominee "FLEE", by Jonas Poher Rasmussen; two-time Academy Award nominee "Collective", by Alexander Nanau, "Gunda", by Victor Kossakovsky; Sundance winner and Academy Award nominee “A House Made of Splinters”, The Tuba Thieves.

1992 first job at ARTE in Strasbourg as part of the founding team; since 2000 commissioning editor at WDR within the culture department
