“The story of life is the story of relationships.” At Copenhagen Zoo, a young male giraffe, Marius, was shot to maintain the dynamic of the herd. The director Max Kestner uses this case to examine the big questions of life: what separates humans from other forms of life and what unites them? A film about relationships, power and the question of consciousness. Veronica Loebner
