Dr. Nadine Hammele works as a freelance consultant for artificial intelligence, storytelling and brand strategy in Munich. The communication and media scientist completed her doctorate in cooperation with the University of Passau and Stuttgart Media University on the topic of "Artificial Intelligence in Film - Narratives and their Development from 1970 to 2020" (2024, Transcript Verlag). She also works as a lecturer for AI ethics at universities.

Dr Lees` expertise is in Generative AI in the screen industries. He publishes and researches in the fields of deepfakes, voice cloning, and text-to-video, with a particular emphasis on the ethics of creativity using AI technologies. As a public-facing academic expert on AI, he has provided expert interviews to national media (Sky News, BBC Radio) and provide deepfake fact-checking for international news organisations (Reuters, Boom Live India). Dominic Lees is the lead writer on AI for the BFI’s Sight & Sound magazine.

Cassie Quarless is a documentary producer/director focused on culture and marginalised communities. He recently served as development director for an Apple TV+ series and directed a BBC documentary on designer Virgil Abloh. His first BFI-funded film Generation Revolution was released in the UK and toured internationally. Cassie has developed projects on Stokely Carmichael, Malcolm Shabbazz, and Black British Music with PBS, BBC, and HBO amongst others. An expert in generative AI, Cassie authored the e-book "AI for Film & TV" and has conducted workshops for BBC, Screenskills, and Creative Enterprise amongst others. In 2023, he was named a Breakthrough Leader by the TV Collective and an Eccles Fellow at the British Library, his work has featured in The Guardian, Teen Vogue, and i-D Magazine.

Eva Wolfangel is a journalist, speaker and moderator, focusing on future technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality, computer science, cyber security, data journalism, interaction between digital and real worlds. In 2018 she was named European Science Writer of the Year by the Association of British Science Writers, 2020 she was awarded German Reporterpreis. She writes for major magazines and newspapers in Germany and Switzerland — including ZEIT, Geo, Republik and NZZ — and produces radio features. Eva’s specialty is to combine creative writing and complex topics in order to reach a broad audience. In 2019/20 she was a Knight Science Journalism Fellow at MIT in Boston/Massachusetts.
