Sylvia Rothe
Professorin (Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film)

Sylvia Rothe is Professor for AI in Media Production at the University of Television and Film Munich. She studied mathematics in Berlin and worked there as a research assistant. She attended several filmmaking courses and turned her passion for movies into a profession in 2011. In the same year, she was a participant in the European Social Documentary training initiative, which focuses on innovative storytelling methods. While working for a Munich film production company, she realized various VR film projects and returned to research in 2017. Her scientific work was presented at various conferences and published in scientific journals.
