HANNA POLAK – Born in 1967 in Katowice, Poland. Studied acting in Poland and worked in theatre before joining the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography in Moscow. She has won several accolades for her work, including an Oscar nomination for THE CHILDREN OF LENIGRADSKY (2004). Alongside and within her work as a filmmaker she campaigns for humanitarian causes.
