CAROLIN GENREITH- Born in Aachen in1984. After growing up in the countryside in the Eifel region of Germany, when she finished school she moved straight to the city. After studying television journalism, she moved quickly into documentary film. Her debut film, DIE MIT DEM BAUCH TANZEN, was screened at the Berlinale. DAS GOLDDORF was the winner at the ARD Doku Pitch competition, the topic of which was “Heimat” (home/homeland).
