In the German language, the male form dominates. Marlies Krämer is fed up with this. At more than 80 years of age she objects, writes letters and takes her complaints as far as the constitutional court. A compassionate film about a woman who does not let things get her down.

Camilo Berstecher Barrero
At the age of 21, the German-Colombian leaves his home country for political reasons. He also gets involved in cultural politics in Germany alongside his studies and thus finds his way to film. He studies at the Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar in Saarbrücken. DIE KUNDIN is his first long documentary film.
Student Award
Outstanding documentary films by students from film schools in German-speaking countries. The films are nominated for the Megaherz Student Award, endowed with 3,000 euros.
