STILLE WASSER
Germany 2022 – Director: Kevin Koch – Original language: German – Subtitles: English – Length: 29 min.
The Ahr Valley half a year after the catastrophic flooding. We have heard a lot about it but don’t have the slightest idea what everyday life entails for the people there. Hope and resignation lie side by side. With a powerful visual language and scenes that are partly touching and partly bizarre, STILLE WASSER manages to find unforgettable images to represent the inconceivable. Stephanie Vierkorn
We show this film together with WAKING UP IN SILENCE and BORDER CONVERSATIONS.
