Since Amir’s father died some years ago, the 14-year-old has been responsible for his younger sisters. Against resistance from the village, he tries to save his sisters from being married off. Biography
Jafar Najafi
The Iranian filmmaker began in cinema as a sound assistant and photographer. He then studied film at the Tehran University of the Arts. His works have been shown at numerous festivals and have won prestigious awards.
