Prof. Dr. Gerd Baumann

Gerd Baumann was born 1967 in Forchheim. He studied at “Münchner Gitarreninstitut”, Groove School of Music and Universitiy of California. Between 1989 and 1991 he was musical director of “Münchner Studiotheater”. Since 1997 Baumann is the producer of Konstantin Wecker. He plays in several bands and also found an Indie-Music-Label together with Till Hoffmann and Mehmet Scholl. Since 2013 he is the head of the film music university course at the “Hochschule für Musik and Theater” in Munich. Since 2001 is an self-employed film music composer.
