Kristina Leidenfrostova

As a scriptwriter and director, Kristina embraces human rights, history, politics, reflection and critique, connecting observational and performative approaches together with creative work with archival materials. After completing her MA at the Academy of Performing Arts in Slovakia, she worked on creative documentary series broadcast by Slovak public television (RTVS), such as Ex Prime Ministers or Icons. Her short films were selected to festivals such as Krakow, Docudays, Pravo Ljudski, CinEast, Arquiteturas (best international film), STIFF (best student film). In Austria, she was awarded Start-Scholarship by Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, the Civil Service and Sport in 2022.
