Valentin Thurn
Producer (ThurnFilm GmbH)

Valentin Thurn is a director and producer of documentaries for TV and cinema, based in Cologne, Germany. His cinema documentaries TASTE THE WASTE (2011) and 10 BILLION - WHAT'S ON YOUR PLATE? (2015) won many awards and were declared the most successful German cinema documentary in 2011 and 2015. In the last 25 years, Valentin Thurn realized more than 50 documentaries for ARD, ZDF and ARTE. His latest film is DREAM ON! YEARNING FOR CHANGE (2020).

Georg Tschurtschenthaler
Senior Producer (Gebrüder Beetz Filmproduktion Berlin GmbH & Co. KG)

Grimme Award winner Georg Tschurtschenthaler works as showrunner, producer an writer since 2003. Since 2009, he oversees the editorial department as Senior Producer Film & Cross Media for gebrueder beetz filmproduktion. In 2013, he received the Grimme Award for “Farewell Comrades”. He regularly teaches at CAST (Zurich University of the Arts), Institute of Documentary Filmmaking (IDF), IDFA, etc.
