Anna-Lena Ponath

Film education

Anna-Lena is a freelance filmmaker and green consultant. She first studied media science and media practice as well as sociology at the University of Bayreuth. During this time, she made her first own short films, which were successfully shown at film festivals throughout Germany. After completing her Bachelor's degree, she worked as an assistant director and production assistant at a freelance production company. 

In 2021, she completed her Master's degree in "Cultural Foundations of Europe" at the University of Konstanz and the University of California, Berkeley and completed further training to become a certified Green Consultant. Since 2018, Anna-Lena has been working freelance, especially in the areas of conception, directing and production.
