Master's Pitch

Initiated by Documentary Campus and DOK.fest München: an interactive format for training and collaboration

The Master's Pitch is a unique format for training and collaboration, initiated by Documentary Campus and DOK.fest München. In the form of a public pitch, it offers up to nine selected teams the opportunity to present their documentary projects in the development stage to a jury of international experts.

The jury members themselves are also in the spotlight: in keynote speeches they present their perspectives on the annual focus topic and share their visions of future developments and potentials.

As an interactive platform, the Master's Pitch provides constructive feedback and offers the chance to initiate the development of new film projects in a collaborative atmosphere. The audience, including filmmakers, producers, sales agents and representatives of major broadcasters and platforms, will also be involved and invited to provide feedback on the pitches and expert keynotes.

The submission for the Master's Pitch is free of charge and will open in November 2024.
