Participation at DOK.fest München 2024

Employment models and necessary contractual documents

 

 

Welcome to the internal area of DOK.fest München!

Here you will find an overview of the possible employment models as well as the forms we need from you to download. In general, we hire you for the festival period or your work days on a short-term basis, as this is most convenient for you.

 

Short-term cooperation

Is possible if:

  • you earn your living elsewhere (employment, studies, etc.),
  • this activity can be proven,
  • your short-term activities do not exceed 70 days per calendar year.

In this case we need from you:

  • the fully completed basic data sheet (PDF),
  • a copy of your matriculation certificate (for students),
  • the fully completed staff questionnaire checklist (PDF – in German, please contact us for assistance),
  • a proof of your tax-ID number: ELSTAM certificate from the tax office or copy of a current electronic wage tax assessment notice that also shows the tax-ID.

 

Temporary cooperation

Is possible if:

  • you are looking for work,
  • you are in the period between your studies and your job,
  • you are not currently in any other employment.

In this case we need from you:

  • the fully completed basic data sheet (PDF),
  • a proof of your tax-ID number: ELSTAM certificate from the tax office or copy of a current electronic wage tax assessment notice showing tax-ID and tax characteristics,
  • if applicable, proof of a child (then you pay less long-term care insurance contribution).

 

Self-employment on account

Is only possible if:

  • you have a trade licence for your work at DOK.fest München, a copy of which you can present to us in advance.

In this case, we will conclude a fee or work contract with you.

 

Important:

  • Without a certificate from the tax office, we generally have to bill you with wage tax class 6.
  • We cannot invoice you without the tax-ID.
  • Please send us your collected documents by Sunday, 31 March 2024 at the latest.

Please read carefully which documents we need from you for the preparation of the contract and the accounting and submit everything completely filled out to us so that we do not have to contact you with too many requests. Thank you!

 

Time sheet

  • In any case you have to fill in the timesheet during your assignment (PDF).
  • This timesheet must be handed in at the festival centre on the last day of your assignment or alternatively sent to: dokteam@dokfest-muenchen.de
