In Germany’s big cities, members of families involved in crime live in a parallel world. Young men with well-kempt beards, bulging muscles and big cars let us into their homes and share their dreams. Gangsta rap and a different kind of integration. Better than any fiction.
We present the world premiere of the film at DOK.fest München 2019.
Noël Dernesch
Born and raised in Zurich, Noël Dernesch studied at the University of Art and Media Design, where he specialised in film/video. Since then he has worked as a freelance director. His debut film JOURNEY TO JAH won the DEFA Prize at the Max Ophüls Preis film festival and the Audience Award at the Zurich Film Festival.
Olli Waldhauer
Waldhauer is the director of ISTANBUL UNITED, one of the most successful film debuts of 2014 and was nominated for the German Human Rights Film Award.
