DOK.digital - the award for new narrative formats
The new award DOK.digital seeks answers to the question of how facts and stories can be told in the future. It is endowed with 2,500 euros and donated by the Bavarian Regulatory Authority for Commercial Broadcasting.
British Pathé Archive Award
At the DOK.forum Marketplace, the award honors projects with a large share of archive material, thus strengthening a documentary genre rich in tradition. The winning project receives British Pathé archive material worth 14,000 euros or alternatively 2,500 euros in cash.
German Composition Funding Award
In order to strengthen the artistic cooperation between filmmakers and composers, the best musical concept at the DOK.forum marketplace will be awarded 2,500 euros for a documentary film. The prize winner is SONOTON.
Pitch Award of Haus des Dokumentarfilms
The Pitch Award at the DOK.forum Marketplace honors projects by students of our partner universities. The award winners are given the opportunity to further develop their current projects in exchange with editors, producers and distributors and to win new financing partners. The Pitch Award is endowed with 2,500 euros and donated by Haus des Dokumentarfilms in Stuttgart.
