Biography

Mila Zhluktenko and Daniel Asadi Faezi studied in the documentary department of the University of Television and Film Munich. They have already successfully worked on several films that have been screened at festivals such as Locarno, San Sebastián and Visions du Réel.

Biography

Jonathan Brunner is a director for documentaries and commercials. In 2020, he completed his Bachelor in Media Design at the University of Applied Sciences Mainz. Since autumn 2020 he has been studying documentary film directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. With BORDER CONVERSATIONS he won the Silver Dove of the DOK Leipzig 2022 as best German short film.

The Ahr Valley half a year after the catastrophic flooding. We have heard a lot about it but don’t have the slightest idea what everyday life entails for the people there. Hope and resignation lie side by side. With a powerful visual language and scenes that are partly touching and partly bizarre, STILLE WASSER manages to find unforgettable images to represent the inconceivable. Stephanie Vierkorn

Biography

Kevin Koch has been studying directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg since 2020 and is attending the film school La Fémis in Paris as part of an exchange programme. He is co-founder of the production company Koch Films.
