CROSSING BORDERS – MALTA
Three short films about Malta – a HFF München TV journalism project.
CROSSING BORDERS is the aim of the new project in the field of television journalism at the HFF Munich. It is about political borders, cinematic borders, journalistic borders, emotional borders. And about recognising these boundaries, crossing them, shedding light on them. The framework: Europe. This year it is Malta. 316 km2, 520,000 inhabitants, smallest member state of the EU, holiday paradise – riddled with corruption and contradictions. Six students spent a week there. CROSSING BORDERS – MALTA shows the results of their research, conversations and encounters:
HUMAN BEING – BEING HUMAN by Lea Tama Springer and Eva Gemmer
PEACE LAB by Conrad Winkler and Matthäus Wörle
GOLDEN PASSPORTS, SHADY BUSINESS by Sabrina Diekow and Manuel Boskamp
