Marcel Gisler, born 1960 in Altstätten, Switzerland. Lives in Berlin since 1981. Studied theatre arts and philosophy at FU Berlin. Worked as producer, screenwriter, director and lecturer at several film schools. 1999 Suisse Film Award, best motion picture for "F. est un salaud". 2013 Film Award Zurich for "Rosie". 2015 Suise Film Award for Documentary Film "ELECTROBOY".
