Mario Piragic

Mario Piragi? was born in Sarajevo in 1981. During the war years, he came to Zagreb, where he graduated from the Gornjograd High School, after which he entered the Academy of Performing Arts (Dramaturgy) in Sarajevo in 2002, graduating in 2012. During his studies, he was engaged as a dramaturg's assistant on the play "Doktor Šuster" directed by Zijah Sokolovi?, a film critic for the leading daily newspaper Oslobo?enje and the weekly newspaper Dani. On BH Radio 1, he edited the film section for the show "Kultura narodu" for one year. He is currently working as a screenwriter on the feature-length documentary film Houses on the Sand.
