Ana Otasevic

Ana Otasevic is a director, producer, and journalist from Belgrade living in Paris. She works on documentaries with social and political impact. She studied documentary filmmaking at Paris 1 Sorbonne and Geopolitics at Paris 8. Her first feature documentary, "NEDJO’S HOUSE" (2016), was shown in festivals and broadcasted on French TV Public Sénat. In 2018, she founded a production company, DARMAR FILMS, to produce films with a strong personal voice. She is interested in spaces of freedom behind real or fictional borders set by men. She explores the clash between the image created by the media and the reality discovered in documentary filmmaking. "BEYOND THE BORDER" is her second feature documentary.
