Dr. Patrick Hörl is the founder and Managing Director of the factual entertainment label AUTENTIC. AUTENTIC focuses on high-quality documentaries and factual series for the German and international market. The company covers the entire value chain of the factual genre, from development, production, co-financing and traditional distribution to operation of its own channels and VOD services. Hörl is one of the founders and partner of DOCUMENTARY CAMPUS, a pan-European advanced training programme for young filmmakers/aspirants in the fields of documentary film and factual entertainment. Additionally Hörl is chairman of the Board of the WORLD CONGRESS OF SCIENCE AND FACTUAL PRODUCERS. Hörl is an award winning producer, honoured with the Bavarian TV Prize, and Honorary Senator of the Munich Film School.
