Hanne Biermann

Hanne started as an apprentice at the renowned German publishing house Suhrkamp and graduated from Bauhaus University Weimar with a degree in media studies. She continued her career towards film, working for the DOK Leipzig festival and in art house cinema. In March 2019 she joined Deckert Distribution as festival manager. Since then she is a regular guest at film festivals and markets around the World, including being an alumni of the Locarno-Thessaloniki Industry Academy and Berlinale Talents. In 2024 Hanne started as Festivals & Marketing Manager at Film Harbour.
