Marietta Gottfried

Born in Vienna, Marietta Gottfried studied theatre and Romance studies there and worked as a freelancer for ORF in the departments of film and series, culture, theatre and television drama. Since 1992 she has lived and worked in Munich, initially as assistant director and play director at the Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel and from 1997 at pay-TV broadcasters (DF1, Premiere, today at Sky Deutschland) as a director for formats such as Premiere Das Programm and the cinema magazine Kinopolis. Since January 2021, Marietta Gottfried has been producing documentaries in Christian Asanger's team, most recently PETRA KELLY – DER RÄTSELHAFTE TOD EINER FRIEDENSIKONE and ERFUNDENE WAHRHEIT – DIE RELOTIUSAFFÄRE.
